AXA – The brand for bike locks and lighting
AXA Bike Security is firmly rooted in the Netherlands, the country with more bicycles than people. For more than 100 years, the company has made every effort to optimally protect the cyclist and the bike thanks to excellent locks and lighting. The brand offers a suitable product for every type of bike. Whether you’re cycling on an e-bike, city bike, cargo bike, fatbike, children’s bike, gravel bike, or any other type of bike, AXA Bike Security has suitable locks and lighting. Safety and ease of use are the top priorities of the brand. The products provide the assurance that your bicycle will remain securely parked and that your lighting will always work. With factories in Veenendaal (Netherlands), Clamecy (France), and Zawiercie (Poland), as well as its own testing laboratories, AXA guarantees quality and reliability.

Ring locks
One of the most well-known bike locks is a ring lock. Most bikes come with a ring lock as a standard option. A ring lock is attached to the bike and is therefore convenient to use.
Chain locks
A chain lock is commonly sold as an additional security measure for bikes. As a general rule, the thicker the link, the stronger the chain.
Folding locks
Folding locks have the advantage of being compact, making them easy to carry. Thanks to their flexible links, they are convenient to use. AXA folding locks come with a handy bracket for easy mounting.
Cable locks
AXA cable locks are lightweight, flexible, and conveniently carried in the included holder. Designed for basic security, they are ideal for short-term use or as an extra layer of protection for your bike.
U-locks
An U-lock is a steel lock in the shape of a U, which is why they are also called U-locks. U-locks weigh less than chain locks and are supplied with a convenient holder. The disadvantage of a U-lock is that they are not flexible. This can make it a bit more difficult to secure your bike to a pole or fence.
Bike lights
Besides fixed lighting, AXA also offers excellent lights for use on, among others, road bikes and mountain bikes. These range from lights designed to make you visible to others to powerful headlights that allow you to see clearly on poorly lit roads.
The USB-rechargeable lights are available in 30, 50, 70, and 100 lux and feature multiple modes, from full power to battery-saving settings. They are resistant to rain and condensation, feature Dutch design, and are available as either a headlight or a rear light.
For e-bikes and bicycles with a dynamo, there is the AXA Nxt line, with light outputs ranging from 30 to 130 lux and a steady-light function, allowing the lamp to remain on for four minutes when you stop. This ensures AXA always provides safe and reliable lighting for every cyclist.
